Burning a CD in iTunes
If you want to burn a music CD in iTunes, the first thing that you need to do is to create a playlist. Once you have a playlist of music, then you can burn it to a CD. Next insert a blank burnable CD-R into the computer. When you do the finder will ask you what you want to do with it, click on the action “open iTunes” and then you will be taken back to iTunes. Now select the playlist that you want to burn and on the bottom right click on “Burn Disc.” Next the computer will ask you at what speed you would like to burn, I usually keep it on maximum. Next choose the disc format, audio CD, MP3 CD or Data CD. If you want the CD to play in a CD player then choose audio CD. Finally you want to choose the amount of time left between each track, 0 seconds, 1 second, etc., then click “Burn.’ Now the computer will burn the disc! Once it’s finished it will show up in iTunes as an audio CD. You can then eject it and it’s ready to go!
