The Address Book
The Address Book application is built in to your Mac and is a useful tool for all of your addresses. To open the Address Book, go down to your dock and click on the book icon with the @ symbol on it. This will open the Address Book. You will notice that the menu bar now says address book and a new window has appeared with your contacts. Apple has already set up their address in your address book! So let’s go over the different sections in the address book. On the left, you have Groups. In the middle are Names and the right is where the information is displayed. Ok, let’s add a new contact. I want to add someone to my “All” Group which contains every contact in your address book. In the middle Name column click on the plus sign at the bottom of the page. Next you will see that areas for you to fill out. Ok, first name, last name. I can either hit the tab key to get to the next entry or just move the mouse to it and click on it. Now for the email section you will notice a little green button on the left, if you click it you get another entry for that section. Ok, everything is filled out and that’s all there is to it!
